Coaching Age Grade Rugby
Coaching Age Grade Rugby
Now the 2018-19 is officially upon us as coaches, players and parents it is essential to be aware of the impact that this has upon the age grade rugby. The RFU policy is to Deliver a safe, player centric rugby experience for ALL children. To do this the RFU have had to be quite specific in what they expect from each age grade in terms of playing and coaching.
RCD has always supported coaches through their journey adding to their Coaching ToolBox and assisting in their delivery and support of their players.
Here is a step by step approach to aspects that you should be focusing on a season by season basis. Far too often coaches pile on the knowledge. Rugby is a late development sport and as such we have plenty of time to prepare and develop players.
